はい、予想通り Release Candidate 2 が Windows にだけ公開されてます。変更点は

• Fix for .lng files etc were saved as .txt
• Fix for some webpages being cached as .tmp instead of .htm happened on url's that ended with /, for example, www.opera.com/

.exe が msdos-program という名前の拡張子が付いてダウンロードされるようなら、それは上書き Profile を使っていたからでしょう。opera6.ini 内の File types を削除(それが怖い人は一旦 rename 待避させる)すれば良い、らしい。
