Mozilla’s rival and competitor, Opera, has also said it will release a version of its browser for the Intel-based Macs in a few months. Opera spokesperson Tor Odland did not provide a specific date for the release of their browser.

元の OperaWatch に引用されている OperaASA の Mac 開発者の言によると、Opera は既に Linux で Intel と PowerPC の両方を提供している実績があり、また BSD を元にしている現行の MacOSX では幾つかの low-level code を既に共有しているのだから、数ヶ月以内のリリースというのは Opera に関しては希望的観測以上のものがありそうだ。
