Organisation

アメリカでは organi'z'ation だが、英国では organi's'ation で、OECD や NATO のサイトでは後者。寡聞にして先程知った。
普通に考えてフランス語の影響だろうと見当が付くが、その通りだった。

Both organisation and organization are accepted spellings in Commonwealth English, but in North American English, only organization is considered correct. Meanwhile, Commonwealth English tends to use organisation more frequently than organization, with one major exception being the Oxford English Dictionary.

そこで OED は -z- の方を好むようだ。
