Opera - Widgets

複数の blog で Widgets を表示させると画面が暗くなってしまうではないかという記述を見かけたので*1、ドキュメントを示しておく。

If you want a widget to remain always visible, even when other widgets and the widget toolbar are not visible, press F6 to enter widget viewing mode, then click the "Pin" button on the widget toolbar, and click on the widget that you want. Widget viewing mode will exit, and any pinned widgets will remain visible, each with their own pin button.

Repeat this process or click on their pin buttons to make them return to normal behavior. Pinned widgets behave a lot like normal application windows, and can be accessed in the normal way for your operating system, such as with Alt+Tab. To keep a pinned widget in front of other applications, right click on it, and select "Always on top".

日本語の用意が出来ていないようなので、引用部分だけ訳してみる。

あるウィジェットを他のウィジェットやウィジェット・ツールバーを隠した場合にも常に見えるようにしたければ、F6 を押してウィジェット・ビューイング・モードに入り（訳注；画面が暗いアレはこのモードなのです）、ウィジェット・ツールバーにある貼り付けボタン（ Pin ボタン）を押し、表示させたいウィジェットの上をクリックします。こうすればウィジェット・ビューイング・モードを抜けても貼り付けられたウィジェットはピンと共に見えるままになるでしょう。
この動作を繰り返すか、pin ボタンをクリックすれば元に戻って見えなくなります。貼り付けられたウィジェットは通常のアプリケーションのウィンドウと同じような働きをしますので、Alt+Tab のようなキー操作を受け付けます。貼り付けられたウィジェットを他のアプリケーションよりも前に表示させたければ、ウィジェットの上で右クリックして、常時前面に表示する（Always on top）を選んで下さい。

これが新しい Opera 9 のウィジェットですよと、こういう写真を載せているところでは、マニュアルを読まずにいじくる坊やが記事を書いているらしい。
