Changelog for Opera 9.10 for Windows
Windows-specific change として、以下の二点が挙がっている。

  • Multimedia keys now function as expected when Opera has focus.
  • Enabled loading of Windows Media plugins when Java is turned off.

こちらは次の二点。

  • When masking as Internet Explorer, the platform is masked as Windows XP. - Windows による囲い込みに対処する防御策として仕方のないものだろう。
  • Fixed an issue where floating point numbers were treated as integers on some Linux systems.

Opera on Linux での UA を書いておく。最後の Mask as IE に注目。

変更は右クリックから Site Preferences - Network 画面下の窓から。一旦設定した UA 偽装を削除するには、Alt+P で開く Preferences から Advanced > Content > Style options でサイト名を選択して delete する。

Tamil が正式アナウンス後に別 digg ってたので、上げておいた。

正式版が出るまでは仕様変更があるだろうといじらなかった menu.ini を、リリースを機にじっくり眺めてみた。いくつかの未実装の機能があった。頼まれもしないのに勝手に動くかテストしてみた。

  • しかし for Opera 7 ってのは、あんまりだ。
  • Id as も F12 から出せるが、コメントアウトを外しただけではちょいと具合が悪い。これはおとなしく Site preferences を使いましょう。

History View
上記、プロトコル別表示を履歴に出すには、[History Panel View Menu] あたりをコピペして View style, 3 へのコメントアウトを外せば良いだろう。動かない事を以前確認してあった Old preferences = Show preferences, 100 は既に過去の遺産となったようだ。
opera:config#UserPrefs|HistoryViewStyle これを指定変更しただけではダメ。menu.ini のコメントアウトを取ると、値は 3 になって他の値を指定しても適用されない。この辺がコメントアウトされている理由なのかも。

  • 通常は、by time visited にするのが良いでしょう。
