• Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger に用意されている VoiceOver を利用して、Kestrel for Mac には読み上げ機能が付く。
• Mac OS 向けの各種最適化により、Kestrel for Mac は Merlin より起動時間、描画共に、はるかに高速となる。フォントの描画にも改善が期待される。
• the Apple Human Interface Guidelines への準拠が進む。メタル調の標準スキンが装備される。
