Opera 10 on Mac OSX

Opera の KB の更新が遅いのは社内の者としても残念に感じているところですが、Mac OSX に関してフォーラムを眺めていたら気になる発言が目に入ってきた。

KB では Opera 9 までしか明言されておらず、10.0 に関しては「更新されていない」と理解するのが正しいだろう。
問題は Firefox が動かない OSX 10.3 への対応である。ここで Mac 担当テスターのダニエルがこう発言している。

Opera 10 has been tested in Mac OS 10.4, 10.5, and 10.6. There is no reason why it shouldn’t work (plug-ins could be a problem, …) in 10.3, though.

また以下の記事では 10.4 以降をサポートすると書かれているとの指摘が一連の投稿の中で紹介されている。

10.4 以降となっている。もう一つ。

ダニエルが OSX 10.3 のマシンでテストしていないと認めているのだから、次回 KB を更新する際には OSX 10.4 以降と明示すべきだろう。
