Some partition trouble

Serious? Yes, indeed. Fedora Core on my main machine worked so slow since this morning. I've installed many test rpms on it. So I tried to re-install Linux.
This time I was trying to use Mandrake 9.2, instead of Fedora Core1. Finishing the usual install, I selected Mandrake from LILO boot loader, then nothing happened! Hit Shift key and see what happened. kernel panic.
Boot loader cannnot find kernel. Then I reboot the system and Win2k stands up, as usual. Wait. I cannot see D or E drive!
During the Linux install, something breaked partition data. hda1 was fortunately safe, but I cannot see the data in My Documents at D drive.
Dual boot is not the road of king. I have back up data in K6-2 machine via samba and have some CD-R. So I will erase the whole partitions and try to do real clean install.
Now I did back up the data at Application Data, which I now can save, to K6-2 Linux machine via network. So it will be my first Windows install, yes for the first time, except using the recovery CD.
