Gmail に来た SuSE の ML 中にあった LINK をクリックして開いた ITmedia の記事。Favicon が GMail のものになっていたのでビックリ。試しにページを複製してみたら、正常な Favicon になった。これまた不思議。

ITmedia だけでなく、はてなのトップ・ページでも同じ現象。opera.beta に上記スクリーンショットの URI を添えて報告してみた。

Yes, this is caused by the redirecting they use. I saw the same thing yesterday when following external links from nontroppo's wiki, which also uses an extra step (to thwart wiki-spam I guess).
This is confusing, so can you file a bug report?
